It would be great if i can track which passwords my employees requested. So i know that i have to change several passwords when an employee leave.7 votes
We have Audit logging in the admin section under “Activity”, could you take a look and see if this does the trick for you?
I know there's a Chrome Extension. Are there any plans to make a Firefox add-on?
I use Firefox a lot more than chrome when I'm developing so Firefox extension would be awesome28 votes
We’ve completed the firefox extension and are awaiting approval in the Firefox store; please send me an email (firstname.lastname@example.org) if you’d like to get early access!
Sorry about that! Should be all up and running again.
The TeamPassword Firefox add-on is not compatible with Firefox version 57 (due to the change to WebExtensions, see reference here: https://blog.mozilla.org/addons/2017/09/28/webextensions-in-firefox-57/)20 votes
Hey all—the new Firefox extension is now available for download. You’ll probably need to grab it manually since the old version was disabled in the update: https://app.teampassword.com/firefox .
Please give it a try and let us know if you have any issues!
I leave a TeamPassword tab open all the time. When I go back to it after my login session has expired, I can still search for a password, but when I click on the password I want, it redirects to the login screen, and after logging in I have to search for it again.
It would be better to either:
1. preferably, return to the password I had searched for (or at least the search results)
- force me to reauth before searching
Hey Nathan, This should be working a lot better now! Could you let me know if redirecting is working like you’d expect?
Copying passwords to clipboard currently relies on flash. It would be great to have a better method of doing this.9 votes
Hey all—we’ve moved into the 21st century and have removed flash from TeamPassword! Thanks for your patience on this, hope you enjoy the less flash-y interface!
On page load, autofocus on the search input, so I will be one less click away to find the service i'm looking for :)7 votes
We rolled this out many moons ago… just noticed this as a recommendation :). Let me know if this isn’t working properly for you.
Currently, this mimics the "Settings" icon from other apps. But that's not what it does. It also should be clearly labeled since someone using it incorrectly can wreak havoc with the whole purpose of TeamPassword.1 vote
This was just launched—check out the new generator!
Could there be an additional column with the original Group name when I export my passwords? I recently exported all my passwords which amounted to around 1000 passwords. But they were not organized by their group and there was no way to organize them by their group.4 votes
Sorry for the delay, this one is actually already done! We just didnt click the button :).
Grab that export here: https://app.teampassword.com/dashboard#export_data
Add "white-space: pre-wrap;" to the Notes pre tag, so that you don't get the horizontal scroll in FireFox1 vote
Sorry for the delay in response—this should be good now!
It'd be great if there was an RSS feed of recent activity so our team could be updated when something happens on TeamPassword, like so-and-so added a new password called xxxxxx.0 votes
We have an activity section now—check that out to see if the feed meets your needs!
Go ahead - make it default to automatically adding http:// to the beginning of every address you enter - just give users an OPTION to turn the damn thing off! Seriously the only deal breaker for me right now - have tried several other systems. We work with so many different passwords it's ridiculous. Our passwords are for other things besides web browsing - we store server credentials, database credentials, and other special info. I understand and appreciate your desire to keep your product simple. Still think this should be an option - I personally find it to be an annoyance for my use case - but can see for the web browsing user it might be convenient.

It would be great if we can login with an existing google account.
(Admin note: combining tickets to show accurate vote count): Even small teams work with Google Apps. Good to understand if we can send invite to group or all users from a domain on google apps.29 votes
Google Sign-In will be going live officially tomorrow, but is available now! Please let me know if you have any issues getting set up, we’re here to help!
It would be great if we have more options for the password generator. Some of my logins wouldn't allow me special characters or have a limit for a specific amount of characters.7 votes
This is launched! Please let us know what you think.
We have basic auth around some of our internal sites.
Should be working fine with the URL!
This has been live for a while now—but closing the ticket out!
For instance, I wanted to store my Apple ID which doesn't have a URL to login, but I wanted the favicon to come through, so I typed "http://www.apple.com"1 vote
Missed this ticket—this should be working well now :).
We added a password with name: "WebMechanix - DNN" --- then when searching for "DNN", it doesn't show up.2 votes
This is live!
The chrome extension will update sometime today when google pushes the update, or, you can manually grab the latest version by going to tools > extensions > check “Developer mode”, then click “Update extensions now”.
Let me know what you think!
It'd be great if in addition to entering my TeamPassword password I would also get a SMS with a short code to make sure that I'm actually me, preventing other people from accessing my account even if they guess my TeamPassword password.12 votes
The Safari extension is launched! Please give it a try and let us know what you think.
- Don't see your idea?
